MooreUnity has plans for 2024, and we need your support to help make them happen! This includes co-sponsoring a Lunar New Year celebration, a Human Library Project, Moorestown's annual Juneteenth celebration, and the implementation of MooreBelonging, a campaign to celebrate the many ways our community is welcoming to folks with both physical and intellectual disabilities (including neurodivergencies). Our biggest expense is our liability insurance. Would you please support our on-going work?
Giving Tuesday for MooreUnityOur Stories brings together a diverse group of people for conversations on race and racism, and how, through sharing our stories, we can together build some peace and put an end to racism. Sign up here--Our next session begins soon!
Register for Our Stories HereJoin us for an opportunity to "unjudge" someone at the Human Library Project to be held at the Moorestown Library. You will be able to have a one-on-one conversation with someone representing a group of people who are often stereotyped or marginalized. You'll have an opportunity to "not judge a book by its cover" by learning from this person's life experiences.
Human Library ProjectJoin the GiveMoore group on Facebook! Similar to the Buy Nothing Project, rather than giving and receiving items, GiveMoore provides a chance to ask for or give help to others who need it in the form of service. (Bring someone a hot meal after surgery, help an elderly person move a heavy piece of furniture, offer to pick up a prescription for someone who is immobile, etc.)
